Dopo il comune impiego di acqua per il raffreddamento nei primi grandi mainframe IBM, l\u2019avvento dell\u2019epoca PC\/desktop aveva infatti generato un netto rifiuto per i sistemi a liquido, una vera &#8216;acquafobia&#8217; che ha decretato il successo del <strong>raffreddamento ad aria<\/strong> per i <strong>componenti elettronici<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Il <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/4977\/scambiatori-di-calore-dimple-jacket\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">raffreddamento a liquido nei data center<\/a> torna invece ora fortemente, e questo \u00e8 dovuto principalmente all\u2019aumento della <strong>densit\u00e0 di potenza dei rack<\/strong>, dovuto alla diffusione di <strong>IoT<\/strong>, <strong>Big data<\/strong> e <strong>Analytics<\/strong>, richiedendo soluzioni di dissipazione del calore generato dai sistemi molto pi\u00f9 efficace: per dare un\u2019idea, se fino a 5 anni fa un rack da 5Kw era classificato come di alta densit\u00e0, oggi si colloca solo nella categoria medio-bassa.
