{"id":4495,"date":"2013-11-25T10:13:35","date_gmt":"2013-11-25T08:13:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/?p=4495"},"modified":"2020-01-10T13:08:14","modified_gmt":"2020-01-10T12:08:14","slug":"raffreddare-i-data-center-e-risparmiare-energia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/4495\/raffreddare-i-data-center-e-risparmiare-energia\/","title":{"rendered":"Raffreddare i data center e risparmiare energia"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Solamente pochi anni fa, data center era sinonimo di importanti <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tempco.it\/soluzioni\/gruppi-frigoriferi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">installazioni HVAC<\/a>, per il mantenimento delle temperature delle sale computer a temperature basse e controllate.<\/p>\n<p>Ancora oggi \u00e8 necessario <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tempco.it\/soluzioni\/raffreddatori-industriali-elettroradiatori\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>smaltire il calore prodotto<\/strong><\/a> da centinaia o migliaia di computer che lavorano incessantemente in un data center&#8230;ogni volta che entro nella stanzetta dove alloggia il nostro piccolo lan server pur avendo il riscaldamento spento, anche in inverno il sistema di condizionamento \u00e8 acceso.<\/p>\n<p>Il grande salto in avanti compiuto in questi anni, \u00e8 legato alle<strong> temperature di lavoro<\/strong> attualmente sopportate da questi computer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000024498518Large.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4500\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000024498518Large-300x153.jpg\" alt=\"Blue and red binary code floating in data center hall leading to light\" width=\"300\" height=\"153\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000024498518Large-300x153.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000024498518Large-1024x522.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Mi spiego meglio, un tempo per condizionare una sala computer, era necessario installare dei gruppi frigoriferi che fornissero acqua refrigerata alla classica temperatura di 7\u00b0C, con un salto termico di 5\u00b0C (i classici 7\/12\u00b0C).<\/p>\n<p>I sistemi attuali, necessitano di acqua per raffreddamento diretto a temperatura decisamente pi\u00f9 alte, parliamo di 15\/20\u00b0C, ed essendo pi\u00f9 efficienti, richiedono di dissipare meno energia termica.<\/p>\n<p>Se il risparmio sull&#8217;energia termica \u00e8 immediato da comprendere, 100 KW sono meno di 120 KW, pi\u00f9 sottile e per addetti ai lavori \u00e8 quello legato alla temperatura.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000028754418Large.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4502\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000028754418Large-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"iStock_000028754418Large\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000028754418Large-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000028754418Large-1024x681.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Come spiego nel mio libro &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lulu.com\/shop\/valter-biolchi\/energia-termica-e-processi-industriali\/paperback\/product-21138446.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Energia termica e processi industriali<\/a>&#8221; i gruppi frigoriferi hanno un rendimento maggiore ed un consumo energetico inferiore, quando lavorano a temperature di espansione pi\u00f9 alte, ovvero devono produrre acqua a 15\u00b0C invece che a 7\u00b0C ad esempio&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Questo \u00e8 sicuramente un aspetto molto importante nella gestione dei data center. Questa variazione verso l&#8217;alto delle temperature consente di fare valutazioni che implicano <strong>scelte decisamente pi\u00f9 green e meno energivore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Come dimostrano le scelte relative alle <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wired.com\/wiredenterprise\/2012\/10\/ff-inside-google-data-center\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ultime installazioni in fatto di data center<\/a>, si tende a realizzare questi complessi, in aree che forniscano &#8220;<strong>acqua a temperature naturalmente basse<\/strong>&#8220;, fiordi, fiumi in zone fredde, mari glaciali, miniere o simili, oppure in zone con climi rigidi, \u00a0in modo da poter sfruttare il raffreddamento cosiddetto in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tempco.it\/soluzioni\/raffreddatori-industriali-elettroradiatori\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>free cooling<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IM0011301.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3492\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IM0011301-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Free cooling plant to cool down big data center\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IM0011301-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IM0011301-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/03\/IM0011301.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Proprio queste applicazioni stanno diventando la chiave di volta per il risparmio energetico dei data center.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tempco.it\/soluzioni\/scambiatori-calore\/ispezionabili\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Scambiatori a piastre TPLATE<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tempco.it\/soluzioni\/raffreddatori-industriali-elettroradiatori\/t-fin-iq\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">free coolers TFIN<\/a> sono i prodotti che abbiamo studiato e stiamo migliorando per rispondere a queste nuove e sempre pi\u00f9 interessanti applicazioni.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000017774404Medium.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4503\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000017774404Medium-208x300.jpg\" alt=\"iStock_000017774404Medium\" width=\"208\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000017774404Medium-208x300.jpg 208w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000017774404Medium-712x1024.jpg 712w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/iStock_000017774404Medium.jpg 1156w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 208px) 100vw, 208px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Gli <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/soluzioni\/scambiatori-di-calore\/scambiatori-calore-immersione\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>scambiatori ad immersione TCOIL<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0rappresentano la<strong> nuova frontiera nel free cooling spinto dei data center<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Un sistema di scambio termico, che unisca una qualit\u00e0 ottima a dei costi gestionali ridotti al minimo, con una flessibilit\u00e0 costruttiva senza paragoni. In sostanza, al variare verso il basso della temperatura di acqua richiesta, un gruppo frigorifero vede diminuire il proprio rendimento termico. Oppure possiamo dire che un gruppo frigorifero che debba dissipare una definita quantit\u00e0 di energia termica, a una temperatura pi\u00f9 alta, consuma meno di un altro che debba dissipare la stessa quantit\u00e0 di energia a una temperatura pi\u00f9 bassa.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Esempio: costano di pi\u00f9 100.000 Kcal\/h di acqua a 5\u00b0C, rispetto a 100.000 Kcal\/h a 15\u00b0C.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>2.
