{"id":9559,"date":"2023-09-21T17:45:58","date_gmt":"2023-09-21T15:45:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/?p=9559"},"modified":"2025-01-14T16:38:57","modified_gmt":"2025-01-14T15:38:57","slug":"pche-exchangers-for-hydrogen-with-tempco-and-microchannel-devices-at-hydrogen-expo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/9559\/pche-exchangers-for-hydrogen-with-tempco-and-microchannel-devices-at-hydrogen-expo\/","title":{"rendered":"PCHE exchangers for hydrogen with Tempco and Microchannel Devices at Hydrogen Expo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/heat-exchangers\/pche-exchangers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>PCHE exchangers<\/strong><\/a> (Printed circuit <a href=\"https:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/heat-exchangers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">heat exchangers<\/a>) are the key innovation that <a href=\"https:\/\/en.tempco.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Tempco<\/strong><\/a> will present at the stand of our technological partner <a href=\"https:\/\/www.microchannel-devices.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Microchannel Devices<\/strong><\/a> at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hydrogen-worldexpo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Hydrogen Expo<\/strong><\/a> in Bremen (<strong>Stand 5F120<\/strong>), the main European event dedicated to new technologies and solutions using <strong>hydrogen for a more sustainable future<\/strong>, that is going to be held on <strong>27-28 September in Germany<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Tempco is exhibiting at Hydrogen Expo as a manufacturer to show visitors the great innovation represented by <strong>full inox PCHE exchangers<\/strong>, a new cutting-edge typology of heat exchangers that responds to the highly <strong>challenging needs of the emerging hydrogen industry<\/strong>., usually made in <strong>AISI 316L<\/strong> with the possibility to realize them also using <strong>titanium<\/strong>, <strong>aluminium<\/strong> and other special alloys.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Printed circuit exchangers<\/strong> can indeed handle <strong>extremely high pressures, up to 900 bar<\/strong>, and a wide temperature range <strong>from -250\u00b0 C up to +400\u00b0 C<\/strong>, and even further using some particular alloys, fulfilling the extreme conditions requirements of hydrogen applications and for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/9029\/hydrogen-fuel-cells-cooling-applications\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>cooling tasks in fuel cells<\/strong><\/a>. It therefore operates on the principle of solid-state diffusion, wherein the atoms of two solid, metallic surfaces intersperse themselves over time, creating in fact a unique object with no joints. The process allows to obtain <strong>heat exchangers with extraordinary structural integrity<\/strong> and more compact, <strong>85% smaller and lighter than traditional heat exchangers<\/strong>.
