These solutions allow to achieve the chemical reactions required for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/8156\/monofluid-thermoregulation-in-pharma-group-for-api-production\/\">production of active principal ingredients<\/a>, for example, carefully following production recipes that require a defined thermal program.<\/p>\n<p>Mono fluid thermoregulation units are therefore systems that, if properly programmed, allow to follow the thermal scheme of a<strong> reactor or a chemical equipment<\/strong>. The units allow to monitor, control and regulate temperatures of the product inside the reactor. Mono fluid thermoregulation employs a <strong>circulating pump<\/strong>, ensuring the flow of the fluid between the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/8060\/tcoil-dimple-jacket-exchangers-for-contact-cooling-of-batteries\/\">jacket of the reactor<\/a>, or the half pipe of the equipment, and an array of <a href=\"https:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/heat-exchangers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>heat exchangers<\/strong><\/a>, or electrical heaters. The whole system is managed by an electronic regulator that controls the temperature of the fluid.<\/p>\n<p>On the secondary circuit it is possible to have <strong>vapour<\/strong>, employed to heat the fluid, and <strong>refrigerated water<\/strong> or <a href=\"https:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/cooling-towers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>cooling tower water<\/strong><\/a> for the cooling of it. If vapour is not available, a heating section can be employed using <strong>electrical resistors,<\/strong> managed as well by the electronic regulator.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>system can be managed by remote<\/strong> using a <strong>PLC<\/strong>, an electronic regulator or other interfaces. It is then possible to <strong>control a quite varied range of temperatures<\/strong>, starting from under zero temperatures <strong>down to -30\u00b0<\/strong>, going up to very high temperatures, <strong>reaching also 250\u00b0 C<\/strong>. Depending on the range of temperature required, the fluid employed will be simple <strong>water<\/strong>, or <strong>glicol water<\/strong> with anti-freeze to reach low temperatures. <strong>Pressurized water<\/strong>, over-heated, is employed to reach temperatures up to 140\u00b0 C, and finally <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/6172\/the-5-must-to-do-point-to-start-up-treg-hce-hcst-o-oh-diathermic-oil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>diathermic oils<\/strong><\/a> or<strong> silicone oils<\/strong> are employed for high temperatures.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ZN1IhGznYZM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Diathermic oil is usually employed for plants involving only high temperatures, while<strong> silicone oil<\/strong>, or synthetic oil, is used in plants requiring a <strong>wide range of temperature regulation<\/strong>, from under zero up to very high temperatures. These oils have indeed the characteristic of having a <strong>good flowing property at low temperatures<\/strong>, and also offer <strong>good thermodynamic and physic properties at very high temperatures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These units can be provided <strong>compliant to several regulations<\/strong>, depending on the kind of application or the Country of installation. Taking about chemical and pharmaceutical industry, it will very common to be in presence of an <strong>explosion risk environment<\/strong>, thus requiring an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/7236\/thermoregulation-atex-skid-package-units\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Atex execution<\/a><\/strong>. If the units are for installation within the United States these will be compliant with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/7371\/thermoregulating-units-for-hazardous-area-ratings-in-usa\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>UL regulations<\/strong><\/a>, while if the destination is Russia they will be provided with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/7635\/tempco-enters-the-russian-market-with-eac-certification\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>EAC certification<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Very often mono fluid thermoregulating units have to be combined with dedicated <a href=\"https:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/chillers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>refrigerating groups<\/strong><\/a>, not directly integrated within the unit in order to ensure production continuity in case for example of a fault in the cooling section.
