{"id":8054,"date":"2021-04-02T15:17:35","date_gmt":"2021-04-02T13:17:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/?p=8054"},"modified":"2021-04-02T15:17:35","modified_gmt":"2021-04-02T13:17:35","slug":"software-custom-for-automotive-radiators-test-bench-cooling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/8054\/software-custom-for-automotive-radiators-test-bench-cooling\/","title":{"rendered":"Software custom for automotive radiators test bench cooling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019ve been recently involved in a very peculiar and complicated project for a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/thermo-regulating-units\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>temperature regulation unit<\/strong><\/a> aimed to an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/6927\/thermoregulation-for-electric-vehicles-test-benches\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">automotive test bench<\/a><\/strong> for <strong>radiators and fans<\/strong>, which required quite a huge deployment of resources. It is enough to say that the whole development and commissioning took 18 months.<\/p>\n<p>The unit works using <strong>water\/anti-freeze solution<\/strong> in a <strong>temperature range between 20\u00b0 C and 130\u00b0 C<\/strong>. The power capacity of the system is 240 kW, with an adjustable flow rate between 10 and 200 lt\/min, with cooling capacity of 120 kW.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8048\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Raffreddamento-Banco-prova-radiatori.jpg\" alt=\"Raffreddamento Banco prova radiatori\" width=\"1020\" height=\"484\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Raffreddamento-Banco-prova-radiatori.jpg 1020w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Raffreddamento-Banco-prova-radiatori-300x142.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/04\/Raffreddamento-Banco-prova-radiatori-768x364.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1020px) 100vw, 1020px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The complexity of the plant is in the fact that it can work at 130\u00b0 C, thus with <strong>pressurized water<\/strong>. And the customer need to <strong>avoid leakages of non-freezing solution<\/strong> inside the tunnel test during the substitution of parts. Therefore we\u2019ve had to install a system with <strong>quick connections on the mounting\/dismantling<\/strong> section of the tested parts.
