The application involves the <strong>cooling of pharma reactors<\/strong> employed for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/7608\/plate-heat-exchangers-revamping-for-covid-19-treatment-api-production\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">production of APIs<\/a>, requiring cooling at <strong>near-cryogenic temperatures<\/strong>, <strong>-25\u00b0 C<\/strong>. The new plant has been supplied following the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/5825\/chillers-30c-in-pharma-industry\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">success of a first installation<\/a> made a couple of years ago at the same customer\u2019s facility.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-7889\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Tempco-chiller-cryogenic-cooling.jpg\" alt=\"Tempco chiller cryogenic cooling\" width=\"705\" height=\"850\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Tempco-chiller-cryogenic-cooling.jpg 705w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Tempco-chiller-cryogenic-cooling-249x300.jpg 249w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 705px) 100vw, 705px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The customer increased indeed by 50% the production capacity of the pilot line, and thus asked us to <strong>increase its overall capacity<\/strong> with an additional similar solution, offering half the cooling capacity.<\/p>\n<p>This is therefore a solution employing <strong>air condensed chillers<\/strong>, able to achieve cooling at temperatures of -30\u00b0 C. Full <strong>stainless steel execution<\/strong> with special insulation suitable for <strong>extremely low temperatures<\/strong>.
