That\u2019s what this <a href=\"https:\/\/f1ingenerale.com\/analisi-tecnica-f1-la-natura-dei-dubbi-di-legalita-del-motore-ferrari\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">interesting article<\/a> I found online is talking about. Its function is to <strong>cool intake air charge<\/strong>, increasing the efficiency of the combustion. The turbocharger compresses the induction air employed in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/3753\/heat-recovery-on-engine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">internal combustion engines<\/a> to improve their volumetric efficiency. As a result, the <strong>compression process raises intake air temperature<\/strong> while reducing its density. The intercooler removes the heat of compression decreasing intake air charge temperature, sustaining the use of a more dense intake charge into the engine, increasing the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/6325\/thermoregulation-in-automotive-engines-test-bench-controls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">output of the power unit<\/a>.
