{"id":7012,"date":"2019-06-07T14:53:59","date_gmt":"2019-06-07T12:53:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/?p=7012"},"modified":"2019-06-12T10:38:11","modified_gmt":"2019-06-12T08:38:11","slug":"dimple-jacket-exchangers-in-a-seaport","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/7012\/dimple-jacket-exchangers-in-a-seaport\/","title":{"rendered":"Dimple jacket exchangers in a seaport"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have developed last year an application for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/6425\/heat-pumps-and-deep-water-dimple-jacket-tcoil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>dissipation of the heat<\/strong><\/a> produced by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/6889\/what-is-and-how-it-works-a-heat-pump\/\"><strong>heat pumps<\/strong><\/a>, using <a href=\"https:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/heat-exchangers\/dimple-jacket\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>TCOIL dimple jacket exchangers<\/strong><\/a> immersed in the Lake of Como. After less than a year, we are working on a new similar application that is now transferring us from the lake environment to the sea.<\/p>\n<p>The solution employing TCOIL <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/6820\/t-coil-dimple-jacket-aka-flexibility-in-thermoregulation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">dimple jacket heat exchangers<\/a> is indeed perfectly suitable for another customer, who requires the <strong>cooling\/heating of water serving heat pumps<\/strong> in a<strong> seaport<\/strong> in the Italian Liguria region, using the presence of <strong>sea water<\/strong>. The customer at the present employs traditional <a href=\"https:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/heat-exchangers\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>plate heat exchangers<\/strong><\/a>, that due to the presence of sand and an inefficient filtration system used to get often clogged, leading to <strong>conditioning\/heating problems<\/strong> of the connected equipments.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/TCOIL-raffreddamento-porto-Loano.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7009\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/TCOIL-raffreddamento-porto-Loano-1024x724.jpg\" alt=\"TCOIL dimple jacket pompe di calore porto Loano\" width=\"750\" height=\"530\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/TCOIL-raffreddamento-porto-Loano-1024x724.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/TCOIL-raffreddamento-porto-Loano-300x212.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/TCOIL-raffreddamento-porto-Loano-768x543.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/TCOIL-raffreddamento-porto-Loano.jpg 1169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The solution developed and designed by Tempco consists in two batteries of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/5192\/tcoil-unconventional-thermal-energy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>TCOIL exchangers<\/strong><\/a> immersed in the waters of the seaport, manufactured using <strong>chloride resistant materials<\/strong>, I.e. SAF 2507 (duplex), avoiding <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/4622\/corrosion-and-pitting-in-stainless-steel\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">corrosion issues<\/a> with the dimple jacket exchangers operating in continuous contact with the sea water.<\/p>\n<p>The installation is planned for July 2019, just in time to the start of the summer season.
