{"id":6274,"date":"2018-04-13T13:30:15","date_gmt":"2018-04-13T11:30:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/?p=6274\/"},"modified":"2018-04-13T13:30:15","modified_gmt":"2018-04-13T11:30:15","slug":"thermoregulation-in-thermoplastic-sheets-production","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/6274\/thermoregulation-in-thermoplastic-sheets-production\/","title":{"rendered":"Thermoregulation in thermoplastic sheets production"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The production of <strong>polypropylene extruded calendered sheets<\/strong> requires a fine and constant temperature control of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/5818\/how-to-control-the-temperature-in-the-calender-rolls\/\">calender rollers<\/a>.<br \/>\nFor an application in production lines of polypropylene extruded and calendered sheets we have realized a <a href=\"https:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/thermo-regulating-units\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>thermoregulation unit<\/strong><\/a> with a temperature working range between +20\u00b0 C and +120\u00b0 C, according to the production step.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Tempco-termoregolazione-lastre-polipropilene.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6269\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Tempco-termoregolazione-lastre-polipropilene.jpg\" alt=\"termoregolazione lastre polipropilene\" width=\"948\" height=\"711\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Tempco-termoregolazione-lastre-polipropilene.jpg 948w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Tempco-termoregolazione-lastre-polipropilene-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/Tempco-termoregolazione-lastre-polipropilene-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 948px) 100vw, 948px\" \/><\/a><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>During the processing of <strong>thermoplastic sheets<\/strong> the calender rollers employed for the production of finished materials must have a constant and controlled temperature. We employed <strong>high capacity pumps<\/strong> for the engineering of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/6110\/thermoregulation-in-anesthetics-production\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thermoregulation<\/a> unit, even if the thermal capacity required was restrained. The aim was indeed to limit the gap between inlet and outlet temperature. We are talking about a thermal capacity\/capacity fluids load rate of 2:1.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the unit has been equipped with a <strong>PID electronic thermoregulator<\/strong> in order to maintain the required temperature level, with tight tolerances. The PID thermoregulator works with a <strong>3-way control mixing valve<\/strong> ensuring extremely high efficiency and rapidly adapting to auto-tuning, the capacity variations required by the different processing steps.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/termoregolazione-lavorazione-polipropilene.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-6270\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/termoregolazione-lavorazione-polipropilene.jpg\" alt=\"lavorazione polipropilene termoregolazione\" width=\"948\" height=\"711\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/termoregolazione-lavorazione-polipropilene.jpg 948w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/termoregolazione-lavorazione-polipropilene-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/04\/termoregolazione-lavorazione-polipropilene-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 948px) 100vw, 948px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/5922\/racing-motors-thermoregulation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thermoregulation unit<\/a> has been conceived with a <strong>compact design<\/strong>, in order to fit the available room for installation in the existing production lines.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The production of polypropylene extruded calendered sheets requires a fine and constant temperature control of calender rollers.
