{"id":5825,"date":"2017-02-10T15:21:32","date_gmt":"2017-02-10T14:21:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/?p=5825"},"modified":"2017-02-10T15:21:32","modified_gmt":"2017-02-10T14:21:32","slug":"chillers-30c-in-pharma-industry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/5825\/chillers-30c-in-pharma-industry\/","title":{"rendered":"Chillers -30\u00b0C in pharma industry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Recently in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.tempco.it\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tempco<\/a> we\u2019ve developed a <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/chillers\/\" target=\"_blank\">refrigeration<\/a> solution for near-cryogenic temperatures<\/strong> supplied to a customer in the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/special-applications-en\/chemistry-pharmaceutical\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>pharma<\/strong><\/a> sector, aimed to cool down to -25\u00b0C the reactor employed in the production of the active ingredient of an innovative aerosol.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tempco-pharma-chiller-30.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5822\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tempco-pharma-chiller-30.jpg\" alt=\"chiller pharma Tempco\" width=\"1134\" height=\"864\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tempco-pharma-chiller-30.jpg 1134w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tempco-pharma-chiller-30-300x229.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tempco-pharma-chiller-30-1024x780.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1134px) 100vw, 1134px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After a careful evaluation of the overall process, we came with the proposition of two alternative solutions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A liquid nitrogen cooling system<\/li>\n<li>A classic <strong>compressor <a href=\"http:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/chillers\/\" target=\"_blank\">chillers<\/a><\/strong> solution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The solution using chillers was the preferred one, due to its technical advantages and the easier management. We agreed with the customer to develop a system employing <strong>two chillers<\/strong> working in parallel, each one achieving 75% of the total duty required.<br \/>\nThe <strong>cooling capacity of each chiller is -30\u00b0C<\/strong>, and an automatic regulation system of the condensation ensures the best process efficiency in every season, an essential requirement because the plant is always operating.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tempco-chiller-pharma-30.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5823\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tempco-chiller-pharma-30.jpg\" alt=\"chiller Tempco pharma -30\" width=\"1417\" height=\"1063\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tempco-chiller-pharma-30.jpg 1417w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tempco-chiller-pharma-30-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Tempco-chiller-pharma-30-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1417px) 100vw, 1417px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The full stainless realization steel has a special <strong>insulation for extreme low temperatures<\/strong>.
