Plate heat exchangers<\/strong><\/a> are suitable for different field of applications.<\/p>\n

On chemical and pharma<\/a> plants we use them as vent condenser<\/strong><\/a> from some years with customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n

\"Plate<\/a><\/p>\n

It’s a complex installation both in respect of design and material’s selection.<\/p>\n

The design of this kind of applications involve different features<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. thermal capacity<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. solvent flow rate<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. flow pressure<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. flow speed<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Thermal capacity is the minor issue, the designer must take in account the last 3 points for a correct and functional plate heat exchanger dimension and project.<\/p>\n

    Compliance of gaskets and plate’s material<\/a> is the other issue to control with the best accuracy.<\/p>\n

    On a big plant started on January we set some vent condensers with titanium plates, some other with stainless steel and all with PTFE gaskets.<\/p>\n
