Windsurf boards"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Considering the positive feedbacks I had on the last post on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/4951\/how-its-thermoregulated\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">thermoregulation in MTB<\/a>, I decided to keep on going.<br \/>\nAnd this time I\u2019m gonna test myself on the analysis of a Windsurf board, and here the topic is getting \u2018delicate\u2019\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/iStock_000010571539Large.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4957\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/iStock_000010571539Large-300x199.jpg\" alt=\"Windsurf board production process technology involve heat exchangers and thermoregulating unit\" width=\"300\" height=\"199\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/iStock_000010571539Large-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/iStock_000010571539Large-1024x681.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Why \u2018delicate\u2019? Because we\u2019re approaching a sport equipment that has to be, at the same time:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong> Lightweight as much as possible<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Shock resistant<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Environmental temperature variations proof<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Stiff<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong> Perfectly water proof, it doesn\u2019t have to absorb water at all<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The right temperature level during production processes ensures repetitivity to the product, and the respect of its characteristics according to project technical specifications.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Modern windsurf boards are typically made using a technology that employs an inner core part composed in expanded polystyrene (EPS), covered by a sandwich skin made in carbon fibre\/kevlar and resins. The inner core is manufactured using modern cad-cam systems.<\/p>\n<p>The external skin can go through several variations, depending on the manufacturer, but it\u2019s broadly very similar for all.<br \/>\nHow are Tempco thermal machines involved in the windsurf board production cycle?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions\/package-unit-tcpu\/\"> Cooling\/thermostatation<\/a> of carbon fibre curing autoclave<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions\/package-unit-tcpu\/thermoregulating-package-units-with-electrical-heater\/\"> Injection plants thermoregulation of thermoplastic inserts, such as dowels and fin slot boxes<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions\/heat-exchangers\/\"> Temperature regulation of production processes of kevlar and carbon yarns<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions\/chillers\/\"> Cooling<\/a> of components in foaming for footstraps manufacturing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A windsurf board has one or more fins, depending on the specific model and sport specialty it is intended for.
