{"id":4688,"date":"2014-02-28T10:10:41","date_gmt":"2014-02-28T08:10:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/?p=4688"},"modified":"2014-02-27T09:29:26","modified_gmt":"2014-02-27T07:29:26","slug":"chemical-plants-and-temperature-control","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/4688\/chemical-plants-and-temperature-control\/","title":{"rendered":"Chemical plants and temperature control"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From the pages of this blog we have repeatedly covered the issue relating to \u00a0<a title=\"Pharmaceutical reactors thermoregulation skid\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/2319\/termoregolazione-di-reattori-farmaceutici\/\"><strong>thermoregulation in chemical plants<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Surely I repeat myself, but to pick up the discussion, basically during the production phases implying the use of reactors, there are different <strong>temperature steps<\/strong> to be respected, to obtain<strong> the chemical reactions, the decompositions or to make the enzymes work<\/strong> in the correct way, avoiding the degrading or destroying active principles<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/foto-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4692\" alt=\"TREG thermoregulating unit for industrial processes, unit\u00e0 di termoregolazione\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/foto-2-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/foto-2-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/foto-2-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These steps provide stops, heating and cooling gradients, basically real and proper<strong> engineering of temperature and of thermal energy<\/strong>, that with the TREG integrated systems we are able to correctly manage.<\/p>\n<p>A very interesting job has entailed the design and construction of<strong> 12 units<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions\/thermo-regulating-units\/\" target=\"_blank\"><b> TREG HC<\/b><\/a>, that were installed in two different plants, having similar management features.<\/p>\n<p>The first is a refining and concentration plant where the thermoregulation stations control the temperature level within a range varying from +10\u00b0C to +135\u00b0C. The adjusting fluid is <strong>pressurised water<\/strong> that transits in two different <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tempco.it\/soluzioni\/immersione\/ispezionabili\/\">heat plate exchangers<\/a> which, through servo-activated pneumatic valves, controlled by remote PLC by the customer, allow setting the different temperature levels and the heating and cooling gradients.<\/p>\n<p>The realisation is completed faired, the internal piping in stainless steel, with highly efficient heat exchangers and centrifugal circulation electric pumps, with mechanical seal for high temperature.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/foto-3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4693\" alt=\"TREG thermoregulating unit for industrial processes, unit\u00e0 di termoregolazione\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/foto-3-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/foto-3-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/foto-3-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>With regard to the fluid adjustment, globe pneumatic valves have been used with regulator\/positioner fitted directly on the servo-control on both steam and on water, while on the process fluid side, the by-pass valves are on-off. All complete with limit switches and feedback on position.<\/p>\n<p>All completed by a series of alarm and safety signals, managed by the on-off equipment.<\/p>\n<p>The expansion tanks sized by our technical department, is managed and installed directly on the customer&#8217;s plant, since they are significant volumes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSC03119.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4706\" alt=\"TREG HCE thermoregulating unit for chemical application, centraline di terrmoregolazione\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSC03119-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSC03119-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSC03119-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The second plant has required<a title=\"Thermoregulation station operation.\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/2992\/centraline-di-termoregolazione-come-funzionano\/\"><b> 5 thermoregulation units<\/b><\/a>, for as many pharmaceutical reactors, where the process is in many ways similar, also requiring <strong>a temperature step close to -30\u00b0C<\/strong>, requiring little thermal energy.<\/p>\n<p>We have solved this by implementing a braze-welded heat pate exchanger for <a title=\"Thermoregulation: control station\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/1970\/centraline-termoregolazione\/\">cryogenic applications<\/a>, supplied with<a title=\"Total anti-freeze protection\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/3856\/antigelo-a-protezione-totale\/\"><em><b> non-freeze solution at -35\u00b0C<\/b><\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To avoid wasting energy the moment intervention on this section is required, we have provided a particular type of operation that allows avoiding energy losses on other thermoregulation steps.<\/p>\n<p>The constructive logic traces the same choices with the addition of a remote control via the web, managed by the customer&#8217;s head office, for the control of energy consumption.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSC03128.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-4704\" alt=\"TREG HCE thermoregulating unit for chemical application, centraline di terrmoregolazione\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSC03128-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSC03128-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/DSC03128-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From the pages of this blog we have repeatedly covered the issue relating to \u00a0thermoregulation in chemical plants.
