Tempco will be attending mcT Hydrogen<\/strong><\/a>, taking place in Italy at the Bergamo Exhibition Center on April 14th<\/strong>, where it will showcase its innovative PCHE printed circuit exchangers<\/strong><\/a> technology for industrial hydrogen applications<\/strong><\/a> and the Oil & Gas sector<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Tempco’s PCHE exchangers<\/strong><\/a> represent an innovative technology that offers high performance to meet the critical requirements of hydrogen applications<\/strong>, such as extreme pressures<\/strong> and variable temperatures<\/strong>. The construction by diffusion bonding<\/strong><\/a>, or solid-state welding, of the plate pack allows these exchangers to operate at pressures up to 900 bar and beyond<\/strong>, thanks to their high structural integrity, which ensures operational reliability and high safety.<\/p>\n

\"Image<\/p>\n

The photo-etching technique<\/strong> empployed for the plates allows to create customized layouts of heat transfer microcircuits<\/strong>, allowing PCHEs to be built in multistream mode<\/a>, as required by the multistage compressors used in hydrogen refueling stations<\/a>. This ensures extremely high heat transfer efficiency, rapid refueling, and installation in small spaces thanks to the exchanger’s highly compact design.<\/p>\n

mcT Hydrogen is held concurrently with several other events, including mcT Oil & Gas and Security<\/a>, a sector in which Tempco PCHE exchangers find equally important and interesting applications, such as pre-heaters in high-performance turbines<\/strong> and on GLN extraction platforms<\/strong> for gas cooling.<\/p>\n
