This is a typical application that we employ on our <strong>Tempco<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/en.tempco.it\/solutions-en\/thermo-regulating-units\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>thermoregulation units<\/strong><\/a> in order to <strong>control the resistors<\/strong>, which are the heating components.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s because, as already explained in the past, to have a very fine and accurate thermoregulation is very important for a variety of industrial sectors, <strong>ensuring a very precise intervention set-point<\/strong> on determined industrial production processes. Whether this processes are related to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/10637\/thermoregulation-in-research-and-development-in-pharma-labs\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pharma<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/10493\/free-flow-heat-exchangers-in-pulp-and-paper-and-plastics-industries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">plastics and rubber<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/10462\/diverse-and-various-applications-of-thermoregulating-units-in-test-benches\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">test benches<\/a>, and in general, industrial sectors requiring a very accurate control of the temperature set-point.<\/p>\n<p>In the past, it was common to employ remote switches to turn on and off the heating resistors. But <strong>remote switches<\/strong>, being electromechanical components, have some limits due to the fact that there are some electromechanical contacts responsible for turning on and off the power of the resistors, involving therefore a <strong>series of on and off cycles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>These on and off cycles generate a wear of the contacts and on the medium-long term the <strong>breakage and failure on the remote switch of the resistors<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This problem can then be solved by using static relays which are <strong>electric relays that do not have electromechanical contacts<\/strong> and therefore with no wear issues and <strong>allowing very quick on and off cycles<\/strong>, with no wear or idle time, thus providing a very accurate control of the temperature.<\/p>\n<p>We employ them as a standard solution on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tempco.it\/blog\/en\/10155\/thermoregulation-unit-with-diathermic-oil-and-first-start-up-service-in-cosmetics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">diathermic oil thermoregulating units<\/a> which involve very high temperature levels. But with their actual low cost, this is a solution that we employ also on lower power units, where all in all even a remote control switch or a relay could be sufficient.
