Multi-stage compressors<\/strong><\/a> are essential devices employed to increase the pressure of technical gases such as air, hydrogen<\/a> and other industrial gases<\/strong>. The compression is divided into several stages to optimize the process, improve efficiency and manage the different temperatures generated during compression.<\/p>\n

What are multi-stage compressors used for? These compressors are used in a wide variety of industrial sectors, such as:

\n\u2022 Chemical industry<\/strong>: for the transport and processing of technical gases<\/a>.
\n\u2022 Automotive: in hydrogen refueling stations<\/a> for fuel-cell vehicles.
\n\u2022 Oil & Gas: for the compression of natural or process gases.<\/p>\n

\nDuring each compression stage, the gas heats up significantly. An inter-stage cooling system is therefore essential to:<\/p>\n
